The school management is inviting eligible and qualified Ex-
cadets of Electrical/Electronics Engineering of the Maritime
Academy of Nigeria, Oron into Pre-HND programme in
Marine Engineering for the 2015/2016 Session .
Available Programme
Pre-HND (Marine engineering)
Admission Requirements
Eligible candidates MUST be holders of National Diploma
(ND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the Maritime
Academy of Nigeria, Oron.
The Programme
The Pre–HND programme in Marine Engineering is a
programme design to offer the current National Diploma
graduates an opportunity to remedy some core courses in
Marine Engineering that they were not offer and cross over
to Higher National Diploma in Marine Engineering.
Duration
The Pre–HND in Marine Engineering shall run for two (2)
semesters (one session). The programme is residential on
full time basis, and on successful completion of the
programme, interested applicants would be qualified for
direct entry into the Higher National Diploma programme in
Marine Engineering.
Screening/Aptitude Test
To be admitted into the Maritime Engineering Pre-HND
programme, candidates would be subjected to screening
exercise which has been scheduled to take place on
Saturday, 5th September, 2015 .
Applicants are to come with the followings
Interested persons are expected to come to the screening
with original and photo-copies of their credentials listed
below;
(i) First School Leaving Certificate/Testimonial
(ii) National Diploma (Electrical/Electronics Engineering)
(iii) Certificate of Origin
(iv) O/L Certificate
(v) Birth Certificate/affidavit of Age Declaration
