BABCOCK University Produces 55 First Class as Davido and Others Graduates

The Babcock University, Ilishan- Remo, Ogun State, on

Sunday graduated a total number of 1,416 students.

The Nigerian Hip hop star, Davido (real name: Adeleke

David,) was among the graduating students.

It was learnt that he graduated from the Department of

Music and Creative Arts and bagged a Bachelor of Arts

Second Class Upper degree in Music.

55 students of the institution graduated with first Class

degrees while the rest got either Second Class Upper or

Lower degrees.

According to the outgoing President of the institution, Prof.

Kayode Makinde, the institution does not award third class

and pass degrees to students. He said that any student that

does not meet up with the established standard is asked to

withdraw.
